Anita Tótha is an international arts consultant and strategist interested in connecting art, culture and people. Originally from New York with a background in gallery and artist management, she also specialises in curation and exhibition management, art fairs, publishing, sales and commerce, business development, marketing and audience engagement. She holds an AS in Marketing and has graduated from the School of Visual Arts (NYC) with a BFA in Photography (2007), later completing an MFA at Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design (2018). She has worked at Yossi Milo Gallery (NYC), Auckland Council, Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design, Sanderson Contemporary and Bonham Art & Design
 
She established Remote Photobooks (2015-2019) for the international distribution of New Zealand photobooks, showcasing select titles at international art/photo book fairs and festivals around the world – Melbourne Art Book Fair, Printed Matter’s New York and Los Angeles Art Book fairs, Volume Sydney. Tótha was also a judge for the 2018 Australia and New Zealand Photobook of the Year Awards. In the same year, she co-produced the short film Pictures on Paper: Photobooks in New Zealand, documenting six photobook makers. She has contributed writings to Broadsheet NZ, Feature Shoot, ProPhotographer, Art News, Photofile, Common Ground Journal, Urbanautica and Photoforum.
 
She now works between New York and Aotearoa New Zealand.
